Eat, Pray, Love (2010)
--Storyline--
At 32 years old, Elizabeth Gilbert was educated, had a home, a husband, and a successful career as a writer. In the eyes of many, she was a woman who had it all. She once made it her goal in life to marry and have a family finds her priorities suddenly shifting and she was unhappy in her marriage and finally they divorced. After finalizing her difficult divorce, Gilbert spent the next year traveling around the world. The trip was paid for in advance with a book deal from the publisher.
She spent four months in Italy, eating and enjoying life (“Eat”). She spent three months in India, finding her spirituality (“Pray”). She ended the year in Bali, Indonesia, looking for “balance” of the two and found love (“love”) with Brazilian factory owner.
--Review--
In my opinion, Julia Robert’s character is a selfish female focused only on herself, doesn’t mind that her husband loves her who has never cheated on her. She immediately falls into a 28 year old before she divorces, but figures out 2 weeks later that they are not as passionate anymore, so off to Italy she flies in search of herself. 2 second clips in Tuscany. In Italy, she drinks lots of wine, indulges in plates of spaghetti, and learns that life is about really living in the moment and loving yourself. After 3 months of self indulgence in Italy, she’s off to a compound in Calcutta in search of the Guru who will bring her peace. There she learns that through scrubbing floors on her hands and knees, attending early morning prayers to the Guru and learn that God is within you. And she leaves India for Bali to meditate at the feet of a medicine man and ends up with the Brazilian expat who now calls Bali his home. And finally, she has now found true love and inner peace. I don’t really like the story. I watch this because of enjoyable scenes in a tourist sort of way; the charms of each location and loving portraits of colorful bystanders, the brilliant costumes by Bill Groom and Micheal Dennison.

The Illutionist (2006)
A poor talented magician Eisenheim falls in love with Sophie well above his social class in his teenage; her parents have hired his father as a cabinetmaker. He makes her a puzzle locker, when if twisted to open correctly reveals a hidden photo of Eisenheim. Although they are forbidden to see each other, they meet in a secret hideout chamber in the woods. One day, two of them are separated.
Years after, he meets Sophie at one of his performances where he finds out that Sophie is expected to marry the Crown Prince, who purportedly has a history of abuse towards women. They finds out that two of them are still in love with each other and they plan to flee the Empire together.
The Crown Prince, Leopold finds out from inspector Uhl that Sophie has been meeting with Eisenheim. The tension between Eisenheim grows. Eisenheim prepares a new kind of magic show which summons spirits on the stage. And in one of the shows which Leopold also attends, Eisenheim summons the spirit of Sophie who says someone in the theater murdered her, which panicks Leopold.
Uhl is ordered to arrest Eisenheim by Leopold, Eisenheim’s body fades and disappears like his summoned spirits. And this is how the couple disappear and flee the Empire just in front of the crowd and lives together happily. Uhl informs the Emperor of the Leopold’s murder of Sophie and while the Army approaching his Palace to arrest him, Leopold shoots himself after angrily justifying his plans to overthrow his father.
I am not a person, who likes to watch magic shows, and it would be even worse to watch magic in movies, however, in the Illusionist movie, the impressive plots and tricks are very stunning and breathtaking. The Illusionist is the right blend of romance and mystery and it is a masterpiece of movie magic.
Director: Neil Burger
Writers: Neil Burger (screenplay), Steven Millhauser (short story "Eisenheim the Illusionist")
Stars:Edward Norton, Jessica Biel and Paul Giamatti

--Review--
In recent years, there are lots of movies about superhero. However, the Mask is one of the classic examples. Jim Carrey is important to the successful of this film. He also gained a Golden Globe Award nomination for best actor when he was cast as Stanley Ipkiss in The Mask. This film is really an entertainment masterpiece.
Rush August (2007)
Lyla Novacek , a cellist and Louis Connelly, the lead singer of The Connelly Brothers met during a party and slept together. And they are forced apart by fate. Despite the fact that they do not remain together, however, their fleeting union has created something amazing that neither could have ever anticipated -- a baby. Unfortunately, just after the child's birth, the mother is misinformed that the infant has died by her father who opposed Lyla to get married to Louis.
Eleven years later, Evan lives in an orphanage, hoping against all hope that his biological mother and father will turn up to claim him. He has the ability to hear music wherever he is. He meets with Richard Jefferies, a social worker who gives Evan his card, and Evan soon runs away to New York to find his family.
Since Louis and Lyla being separated, both of them gave up their careers and Louis now lives in San Francisco and Lyla in Chicago. Meanwhile out on the streets, the child falls into the clutches of a manipulative, untrustworthy street person named Wizard (Robin Williams), who renames Evan "August Rush" and Evan, who has never touched a musical instrument, picks up a guitar for the first time and plays it like a pro. Wizard opens the boy up to the depth and breadth of his own musical talent even as he smells the opportunity to grow rich off of the foundling.
Meanwhile, Evan/August's hope persists that he will be reunited with his folks, and Louis and Lyla, unable to forget their initial night of love, feel themselves being drawn back together by fate.
Overall, it's a pretty good movie with happy ending and it's a touching story of family reunion through a lot of obstacles.

A beautiful mind
Jennifer Connelly acts as one of his students, Alicia Larde. She falls for the nervous, socially inept Nash, inviting him to dinner and starting a romance that breathes life into Nash's carefully ordered world. As Nash's mental condition unveils itself, being diagnosed with schizophrenia, worsening with time, Alicia is the only one true thing in his world that remains reliable and dependable for Nash. Gradually returning to research and teaching, in 1994, John Nash was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics.
--Review--
In this movie, both Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly prove to be talented actor and actress. A Beautiful Mind isn't really about math. It's about the math genius, John Nash, and the complexity of his brain as he struggles for a long time. A beautiful mind includes all of the ingredients of drama, action, romance, pathos, excitement. And it is also inspiring as well.

Bolt
Bolt, an American White Shepherd, has lived his whole life on the set of his action TV show, where he believes he has superpowers. When separated from the studio by accident, he meets a female alley cat named Mittens and a hamster named Rhino. Along the way, he learns that he doesn't have superpowers and that the show is not real.
--Review--
All the characters were great. The pigeons were great comic relief. It's amazing the amount of detail the animators put in. Watching the way the pigeons moved their heads was entertaining in itself. Rhino and Mittens were also hilarious while having more depth as well. A lot of Rhino's great lines were in the preview but didn't exactly play out in the story the way they seemed like they were going to. Even with that, he was hilarious. Obviously the plot is predictable but it's a very fun story. Few times I laughed, few times I had watery eyes, and it's impossible not to adore the characters and be at the edge of the seat as you follow the story. Also really loved the "authentic" finale with Penny and Bolt.

Spirited Away
Shutter Island
It's 1954, and up-and-coming U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Boston's Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital. He's been pushing for an assignment on the island for personal reasons, but before long he wonders whether he hasn't been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister. Teddy's shrewd investigating skills soon provide a promising lead, but the hospital refuses him access to records he suspects would break the case wide open. As a hurricane cuts off communication with the mainland, more dangerous criminals "escape" in the confusion, and the puzzling, improbable clues multiply, Teddy begins to doubt everything - his memory, his partner, even his own sanity.
--Review--
The story follows Teddy, a federal Marshall, and his partner Chuck (Played by DiCaprio and Ruffulo). They go to this mysterious island enveloped in fog to investigate an escape. From these opening scenes, Marty has set up a dark and creepy premise.
Almost the whole movie incorporates this story as Teddy desperately tries to find the truths he seeks. Teddy is shown as a scared man; a man of war and violence as portrayed in various flashbacks. These will go on to be increasingly important as the story progresses. We follow Teddy on his quest, through every dark corridor and perilous confrontations. Slowly, we are given pieces to the puzzle, but the audience does not even realize it. For we, like Teddy, are blind. For the moment at least. It is because of this that the thrilling conclusion will leave many blindsided. But, you see, that is where this thriller becomes something more. We as the audience are put in Teddy's shoes, and we feel all the things he feels. It is a complete assault on the senses, and it works beautifully.
This is also a film I would recommend seeing a second time. In fact, it is even better the second time. All those pieces of that puzzle you didn't catch the first time, you will the second. You see, we as the audience are first put in the shoes of Teddy. The second? Well, without giving too much away, lets just say you are put in someones else's shoes entirely during the second viewing.
Shutter Island. A film that will make you question your own sanity. A film that will leave you breathless. A film that has re-ignited the thriller genre. A film that will leave you, and the main character, searching for answers.

---Cast(some main)---
Jack Black - Po(voice)
Angelina Jolie - Tigress(voice)
Dustin Hoffman - Shifu(voice)
Gary Oldman - Shen(voice)
Jackie chan - Monkey(voice)
Seth Rogen - Mantis(voice)
Lucy Liu - Viper(voice)
David Cross - Crane(voice)
---Review---
The movie start off with the a short story of lord shen, it was say that lord shen will be defeat by a black and white warrior(which is a panda) then the story goes back to Po. The story goes on to Po had a mission is to save Kung Fu which lord shen wanted to destroy. The characters have fully matured and been fleshed out to the point where even Jack Black fits comfortably as Po, though regrettably the Furious Five barely get any screen time. Overall is a nice movie to watch with your family and friend also it is worth watching it in 3D, it gives you twice the awesomeness!
