transformers dark of the moon

A few months clear of college, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has a hot new girlfriend, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), and a lot of time on his hands: he can't get a job to save himself, no matter how many times he mentions that "POTUS" gave him a medal.

The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers' final battle.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

--Story Line--
Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) crosses paths with the enigmatic Angelica ( Penelope Cruz), he’s not sure if it’s love or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the “Queen Anne’s Revenge,” the ship of the legendary pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he shares a mysterious past.

--Review--
"On Stranger Tides" feels as fresh and exhilarating. It is a pretty good movie in my opnion. By not having Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom in it, the film didn't feel like just a rehash of all the other Pirates of the Caribbean films. Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane really added a lot to the film, and I loved Sam Claflin's performance. But of course you have to have Johnny Depp, because it wouldn't be Pirates of the Caribbean without him, and Geoffrey Rush was spectacular as always.

Big Mommas

--Story Line--
The FBI agent Malcolm Turner (Martin Lawrence) and his 17-year-old stepson, Trent (Brandon T. Jackson) go undercover at an-all-girls performing arts school after Trent witnesses a murder. In order to keep Trent out of the harm’s way and solve the case behind the killing that Trent saw, Malcolm posts as the titular rotund old lady, Big Momma, and Trent dresses up as a heavy female named Charmaine, to find out the murderer before he finds them.

--Review--
“Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son” is the third movie in this series. The first one is hilarious, the second one not so much and now the third one unleashed upon us movie-lovers. Honestly, Martin Lawrence does a good job in this movie as he did in the previous two movies. However the story line is somehow too simple and cannot attract the viewers. He might have considered stopping after the second movie. It was a disappointed experience to watch this movie, it keep squeezing the lemon when there is no juice come out.

                                                           --Story Line--
Nina Sayers is a young dancer with a prestigious New York ballet company. She lives with her mother, Erica who was a former dancer, now an amateur artist.
The company is preparing for a production of Swan Lake. The lead must be able to portray both the innocent, fragile white swan and the dark, guile, sensual black swan. Nina is chosen to compete for the part alongside with the other dance, Lily. Nina has to find the darker and sensual side of herself as she is beautiful, vulnerable and naïve. As the two young dancer expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side which is a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.

--Review--
Black Swan is a great movie and it deserves the Oscar nomination. It is about a piece of beauty and the intensity of perfection. The heroine, Natalie Portman in this film undergoes a form of mental torture, but she subjects herself too. This is where the genius and madness of the director, Darren Aronofsky.

The Sixth Sense(1999)

--StroyLine--

Dr. Malcolm Crowe is a child psychologist whose new patient, Cole Sear has a problem beyond his area of expertise. He claims that he is able to see the spirits of dead people around him. Cole has psychic powers but doesn’t understand his power and he cannot manage to control over them and he’s constantly scared of what he sees.

When Dr.Crowe met the child, he thought the child was having possible mental disorders. But later Dr.Crowe comes to believe that the child is telling the truth through some proofs. On the other hand, Dr. Crowe is also having some issues with his wife due to his dedication to his work and the wife thinks that she is always the second to him and unhappy and two of them, the child and the doctor share their secrets with each other and the child also trusts that Dr. Crowe is the only person who can help him.

Dr. Crowe suggests Cole that he should try to listen to them instead and perhaps aid them with their unfinished business on Earth. Cole at first too scared but he decides to try it. He finally talks to one of the ghosts, a very ill girl called Kyra who wants to give a message to her father that her stepmother is trying to kill her and her sister. Cole accomplished to help Kyra. And he even advises the doctor that he should try to talk to his wife while she is sleeping.

Crowe returns to his home and finds his wife asleep on the couch and as she sleeps, her hand releases their wedding ring, revealing the surprise ending of the film: Crowe was actually killed by Vincent, his previous patient and was unknowingly dead the entire time he was working with Cole. Crowe’s unfinished business are to rectify his failure to understand Vincent case which he failed to complete and the second reason is to tell his wife that she was never second and that he loves her. And finally he is free to leave the world of the living.
The ending part is much unpredicted and I was quite surprised. At the start of the movie, it seems to be a bit boring but it gets increasingly interesting as it goes deeper. We will see Cole's innocent little face hidden behind his absent father's large-framed spectacles betrays a child actor displayed such maturity role. It gives wondrous two-hours.
